Summer Hub 2024

The WHIS Summer Hub Program: A no-cost credit recovery program for WHIS High School and Intermediate School students.

Dates:    Year Courses (30 instructional days): 

Wednesday, June 5, 2024 - Thursday, July 11, 2024**

Semester 1 Courses (15 instructional days): 

Wednesday,  June 5, 2024 - Wednesday, June 26, 2024

Semester 2 Courses (15 instructional days):  

Thursday,  June 27, 2024 - Thursday, July 11, 2024

**No School: 6/11(Kamehameha Day) and 7/4 (Fourth of July)

Time:   School will begin Promptly at 800 am and will end at 12 noon

Attendance Policy

Students are expected to be in attendance every day during the sessions.  

All courses are in-person.

Students who exceed the allowable absences will be dismissed from Summer Hub.


Discipline

Every student attending Waialua High Intermediate Summer Hub has the right and expectation to learn in a safe environment free from distractions. All regular DOE and school rules will be followed for the summer hub. In addition, regulations from the Department of Education Chapter 19—Subchapter 3, STUDENT MISCONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE IN SUMMER SCHOOL, will be strictly enforced.

Registration will be online through our Waialua High Intermediate School website. Summer Hub will be under STUDENT. Fill out the Google Form acknowledging your agreement to these procedures and information.
