Where can I find the course guide?

Grade 6 students were all given a printed copy through the Design YOUR Future event on 2/22/2024 or their 6th grade teacher .  Grade 7 students will be given a printed copy on 2/13/2023 through their Advisory class.  The intermediate school course guides are also located on the 2024-2025 Intermediate School Registration page.

What will I see when I log in to the course registration portal in my Infinite Campus account?

For current grade 7 students ONLY.  English, Math, Science, & Social Studies courses that have been recommended for you will be listed.  If your current 7th grade student signed up for Intermediate Band you will also see that.

I'm going into the 8th grade.  How many courses should I sign up for?

Every student must have 5 courses (20 units).  Teachers will register students for their 4 core courses and students will sign up for 1 requested (electives) course for a total of 20 units.  Students will also sign up for 2-3 alternate courses (8-12 units) depending on if they signed up for Intermediate Band.  Be sure to sign up for your alternates in order of importance.  If you do not sign up for enough courses they will be chosen for you.  The best way to avoid mistakes is to fill out your registration worksheet.

What if I plan on taking summer school?

When you are finished with summer school and have your report card let the Registrar know.  Your schedule will be adjusted at that time.

What if I am not returning to Waialua High & Intermediate School next year?

Everyone must do a complete registration.  Your schedule will be removed once we get confirmation that you have transferred to another school.

How will my parents verify my classes?

6th grade parents will sign registration cards before they are turned into their teachers.

Requested course verifications for 7th grade students will be sent home and MUST be returned, signed by a parent.

For core courses, what do those letters at the end of the ACCN code mean?
